Storm Drain Design

Description: This project involves hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design of a large, 100-year storm drain facility in central Las Vegas, Nevada. The storm drain will alleviate street flooding in the area and tie into existing storm drain facilities at the downstream end. Main tasks will include developing a hydrologic/hydraulic model, determining design flows, sizing the storm drain facilities, and developing design plans in CAD. This project may also involve some geotechnical analysis and structural analysis/design of concrete box structures.
