Zion's Peak Recreation Camp Water System
Emphasis: Water Resources / Environmental
Sponsor: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Description: The Zion’s Peak Camp receives its water from a well and the well water contains dissolved iron, manganese, and sulfate above the secondary maximum contaminant guidelines. This project consists of designing a treatment system to reduce contaminants to acceptable levels. This may include redesigning the piping and plumbing to make the treatment work, replacing the existing water tank, and distribution system. The design team will provide a preliminary design including proposed equipment, flow diagram, hydraulic model and cost estimate.
