Bartholomew Culinary Tank

Replacement of the Bartholomew Culinary Water Tank in left-hand fork of Hobble Creek Canyon.

  • Will require the most efficient sizing based on the City's and the Canyon Water User's needs
  • Site Selection near existing tank
  • Type of tank (steel or concrete)
  • Design of the Emergency Overflow structure within the tank
  • Connection Piping to Spring Collection System (inflow) and transmission penstock (outflow).
  • Phasing sequence to decommission the old tank and connect the new tank to the spring collection system piping (inlet) and the 24” penstock (outlet) which feeds a hydroelectric generation station near Rotary Park.
