The purpose of the projects is to provide the design of the relocation of a steel-framed structure currently located in Riverton City, Utah. The design will include the footings as well as a new beam structure to support the city’s snow plow salters when they are not in use. Seismic design should be considered in the design for the structure. This structure will be referred to as the main structure throughout this document.

A separate mezzanine structure will also be relocated to the city’s new facility. This structure will need to be analyzed and footings will need to be designed to support the structure. The structure needs to be analyzed for seismic capacity and further framework needs to be designed to support high seismic loads. The mezzanine structure will be referred to as the mezzanine throughout the document.
