Description: Small roundabouts can be an effective and efficient way to move traffic if designed correctly and placed at compatible locations. There are several locations throughout Orem that have all-way stops. This project goal would be to analyze these locations to determine which locations a small roundabout would an appropriate and cost effective replacement to all-way stop intersections. Aspects of the project would include stop sign warrants, roundabout warrants, geometric design, sight distance analysis, crash analysis, and interfacing with the public.
